Fashioning Masculinities: Upholstery Demonstration with Jay Blades at The Victoria & Albert Museum. As part of the slow making movement, Jay & Co work with individual pieces of furniture and sustainable materials to create new bespoke pieces. Known for bringing objects back to life on 'The Repair Shop' and 'Money for Nothing', Jay showcased his approach to restoration, highlighting how to work with materials in the most sustainable way possible. Using deadstock fabric supplied by RÆBURN, Jay demonstrated upholstery techniques live in the museum.
