Why am I driven?

What can I achieve?

Which direction is my life heading in?

My experience of life so far is, we don’t always know the answers to all of the questions. But a desire to learn, explore and venture into the unknown is essential. Along with being fearless, not worrying about the outcome, enjoying the process and sheer hard work and determination, will show you the outcome you need to move forward.

I don’t believe in boundaries or staying within my comfort zone. I always think what can I do next and always pushing myself to the next level.

I often reflect and think, why has this happened to me? Admittedly, I don’t always understand why.

One thing I do know is that, to enable yourself to achieve, grow and diversify you must fail. You must not get weary, you must live each day with enthusiasm and passion. You must never expect but enjoy when the unexpected happens.

Primarily you must grasp opportunities when they come your way. Not look at financial gain but embrace the experience and process to grow. I guess it’s also imperative you have a mind set that you will achieve, no matter what the challenge is. Achieving is not always succeeding. Sometimes overcoming a hurdle, boundary or set back is the lesson. Truthfully, sometimes failing is the most important lesson as it strengthens my spirit and determination.

Where am I going, what will I become and why?  These are questions I don’t know the answer to. What drives me? Well that’s the easy one. A zest for life, a desire to learn and to discover what I am capable of achieving today, tomorrow and in the future. The other thought following on from this is, do I have the potential to make a difference? To leave something others can learn from. To lay a foundation or pathway to help others.

As I write I can see you guys getting very confused with this and thinking WHERE is he going with this?

Well let me just say this to try and clear things up...

There is sooooo many things that happen to me, on a daily/weekly basis that make me stop and ask why me? I reflect, not to understand but to never take for-granted my position within this universe.

I know that might sound a bit deep but we all have a position/role to play on this earth and finding it can be very hard but we must enjoy the process of getting there.

Even if we don't know where, “there” is.

Okay I'm coming to an end, apologies if I've lost some of you in my thoughts. Probably the easiest way for me to explain this is that I'm grateful for everything that has happened to me and is happening to me.

So with this in mind, I would like to say...

Thank you Express & Star for doing a brilliant feature on me. More importantly thank you to the person that suggested it. You know who you are. ;-)

Thank you today Amir interior Blog Awards for my nomination. More importantly thank you for the person that suggested my name. You know who you are ;-)

I’m going to leave you with one more thought or action to take away...

Ask yourself, what are you thankful for?
