Enjoy The View

Anybody that knows me will know that I love to work and I also love giving back to charity.

So it comes as no surprise that I've been working since January and have really not had a break. Well Friday just gone along with Saturday and Sunday I took time off to chill and recharge my batteries. I've slept in till 8 o'clock in the morning (brackets normally up at 5 to 5.30am at the latest).

I have to say it's been one of the most relaxing and well needed breaks. Let me tell you why.

I've been filming back-to-back shows and producing furniture for customers continuously since the start of this year. At the beginning of the year I started filming the Repair Shop, seven weeks in Chichester, in the freezing cold was not my idea of fun but the guys I filmed with made me smile and laugh every day, which made seven weeks seem like seven hours.

One day break then I went straightinto filming The celebrity version of Money for Nothing, along with Sarah Moore. I just have to tell you this, I think this show is gonna be a real winner. I'm not just saying that because I'm in it, the reason being is the banter is spot on, the personalities are amazing, the makes are on another level and last but by no means least Sarah and myself get to work together (about time) and I really enjoyed working with the Boss.

After another one day break, I went into filming the normal Money for Nothing show. Where I've only be able to get my teeth into two weeks of filming so far.

Now I have this 3 day break before I hit the road again, this time I'm off to film the second series of The Repair Shop.

And If that was not enough, I have been sorting out the Thursday Thumbs Up http://bit.ly/JnCoYES with some Great names

Wow what a rush. Even telling you about it all, makes me get a bit dizzy.

Now please understand I'm not telling you all this because i want to show off. I'm doing this to show us all, we need a break no matter how much we love the work that we do.

In my break I took in some site-seeing went into shops spoke to people and most importantly, filled up my creative back pack (which was much needed).

When it is necessary for you to be creative every day, sometimes three times a day, you can run out of ideas. But a break can soon inspire, ignite a thought and begin your next chapter of your creative journey.

Well that's enough talking, now sit back and enjoy the view.
