It’s Back

First, let me tell you about the week I’ve just had.

Sunday - workshop in Wolverhampton

Sunday - head to Chichester

Monday - film Repair Shop

Tuesday - head to Heathrow and fly to Manchester, film in Manchester then drive to Gretna

Wednesday - Drive to Edinburgh film then drive to Perth then drive to Lancaster

Thursday - Drive to Manchester film all day then drive to Bradford

Friday - Film in Bradford then head home

I think after reading all about my week, we could all do with a little rest and some light hearted and family friendly TV.

And I’ve got just the thing...

The Repair Shop is back, bigger and better with extra minutes. Many of you have been asking for it to go to an hour long... we are almost there, now you will be getting 45 minutes.

In these episodes we give you more process and even more emotion. So I suggest you do a few things.

Tell a friend, to tell a friend (about the show)

Turn off your mobile phone (when watching)

Snuggle up with the family.

Get a box of tissues (because the stories are just, WOW- mind blowing)

After you’ve watched the show, please let me know what you think and use the hashtag #TheRepairShop

I just wanted to add that there is a lot of people that you don’t get to see on screen. These include Editors, Directors, Sound Engineers, members of the development team, Runners, Researchers, Executives and Caterers. It really is one awesome team.

I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has made this show possible, beautiful, heart warming and a joy to work on.

To the very talented crafts men, women and of course teddy bears 😊 I thank you for allowing my 11 hour work days to just fly by.

Last but by no means least, I’d like to thank the viewers. We are filming a new series and this is only possible because you turn on the TV at the right time and show your appreciation, for the show by watching and I thank you for that.

So With all that being said,

Monday, BBC Two 6.45pm will be the first episode.

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Take care

Jay
